Advantages of this travel insurance
Travel Assistance Insurance
ABANCA's Travel Insurance allows you to purchase extra protection only for the time you are traveling, and only for the coverages you choose, depending on your destination country and the type of activities you plan to do.
The huge differences between healthcare systems and the treatment of foreign tourists make it highly recommended—especially in certain destinations (United States, Egypt, Bangladesh…)—to know that your vacation won't end up compromising either your physical health or your financial well-being! Medical expenses, medical transfers, even damage to or loss of your luggage… Add a small amount to your total travel budget and you can travel knowing that when you return, everything will remain the same.
Interesting, right? If you are already an ABANCA customer, keep in mind that the most basic travel coverage (up to 60 days) is included in our home, car, or health insurance, and that there are other coverages that protect you if you used your credit card to pay for the trip.
In any case, whether you are already an ABANCA customer or not, if you are going to travel—and especially if you are traveling abroad—travel assistance insurance is for you. Why not stop by one of our branches and let us review your case in detail? Book an appointment and we’ll be waiting for you!

What could happen to me if I travel without insurance?
We hope and wish that you never have to go through such a situation, and we're sure nothing will happen to you. But just so you know, we're going to give you some approximate but real examples of what you might have to face if you have a health problem abroad.
As you can see, purchasing travel insurance is very inexpensive when compared to the risk that an incident like this could pose to your savings, right?
