Just by owning this debit card, you already have several coverages completely free of charge.

The insurance for your Renfe Gold Visa covers you up to €4,500 for ATM robbery and up to €6,000 for fraudulent use of your card by third parties in case of loss, theft, or misplacement. The same applies in case of counterfeiting, meaning if someone has illicitly accessed your card without it being stolen, lost, or misplaced.

The Renfe Visa Gold card has an annual issuance and maintenance fee of €30.

If you withdraw cash at ABANCA ATMs or branches, it will be completely free, and the first five withdrawals per month at any Euro 6000, ING, Euronet, Banco Sabadell, Bankinter, Caja de Arquitectos, Caja de Ingenieros, Euro Automatic Cash and Banca March ATM outside Galicia will also be free.

From the sixth withdrawal at these ATMs, and at all other national ATMs, the fee charged will be the one applied by the ATM's owning bank.

At national ATMs, you will be informed of the fee amount applied by the ATM's bank before you complete the transaction, in case you want to cancel it.

At other international ATM networks, the fee will be €2 in the euro zone and 4% of the amount withdrawn, with a minimum of €4, outside the euro zone. Remember that some banks may charge you a fee for using their ATM.

For purchases and cash withdrawals made in a currency other than the euro, a fee of 3% of the total transaction amount will be applied.
