What is a Simplified Occupational Pension Plan?

As a self-employed worker, in addition to having an individual plan, you can opt for a simplified occupational pension plan. This type of plan aims to make it easier for the self-employed to save for retirement by allowing higher contributions and generating greater tax savings.

This is what the ABANCA Entrepreneurs and Professionals plan offers you, exclusively for self-employed workers or freelancers subject to the Self-Employed Workers Statute.

How much can I contribute to my Self-Employed Pension Plan?

The ABANCA Entrepreneurs and Professionals Plan allows you to make both individual and self-employed contributions, so you can contribute up to €5,750 per year to your savings.

  • Individual contributions: up to €1,500 per year
  • Self-employed contributions: up to €4,250 per year

In addition, you can set up a savings plan that combines regular contributions (minimum €30/month) and extraordinary contributions (minimum €150).
