ABANCA Grassroots Sports Program

ABANCA, official sponsor of Galicia's top-level sports teams

We work to promote the values upheld by sports. With this commitment, and thanks to the trust of our customers and employees, we pledge to Galician society to foster the culture of effort among our athletes and double down on our commitment to the personal and academic development of the children of Galicia through the values associated with sports activities.

Our Core Values in Sports

Perseverance

The culture of effort and tenacity are inherent to grassroots sports.

Fair Play

Nobility and integrity are at the heart of sportsmanship.

Coexistence

Tolerance, respect, and inclusion are the foundation of teamwork.

Commitment

Sports teach us to commit. To ourselves, to the team, to the rules, and to our opponents.

Equality

Integration and equal treatment regardless of each person's condition or abilities.

Teamwork

Promoting collaboration to achieve a common goal is a lifelong lesson.

Recognition

Satisfaction and recognition for a job well done inspire and matter.

Humility

Practicing it tirelessly is important to know how to lose and even more necessary to know how to win.

Self-Improvement

Reaching a goal and measuring up to others is impossible without self-discipline and effort.

Camaraderie

Fostering concern for others through the bond of friendship created among members.

One mission:
for everyone to win

Children, coaches, and families are called to benefit from this program, which was created to support Galician society as a whole. Because a community that promotes sports wins a better future.

No one is offside

Any sports discipline is welcome in the program. Including, of course, specific disciplines for athletes with disabilities.
